“My career started at a general contractor. Construction industrialisation, digitalization and innovation have always been my passion there. Based on a belief in the added value that open data brings, I am actively involved in the activities of buildingSMART. Since 2024, I made the switch to Qonic, developer of nextgen BIM software.”

I believe that open standards and processes are the key to an efficiënt and qualitative exchange of information in our AECO industry. OpenBIM facilitates everyone to contribute their knowledge to a project, regardless of the software they choose to use.

My mission is to digitize, inform and connect the AECO industry towards a greener and more social built environment. Focus on BIM, LCA, open standards, data structures/exchange and emerging technologies.
Furthermore i’m always searching for new ways of working, don’t get caught up in the status quo.

In everything I do, I strongly believe that collaboration drives progress. To truly work together, we need to speak the same language. In BIM, open standards facilitate smooth data exchange and clear communication, hence strengthening teamwork across the industry.
